Bbulamazzi is a luganda word that literally means lack of water. Coupled with the poor sandy-rocky soil tecture, the area is perceived unproductive  for farming. Bbulamazzi village, which is located at Muduuma sub-county in Mpigi district, is believered to have been named after the difficulty residents faced to get water for ages. With such conditions, you could hardly find a thriving crop  farm until a 49 -year-old Anthony Mateega  Naakirya established St. Joseph Agribusiness Enterprises in 2015. He has piggery, poultry, diary, a banana plantation, horticulture, coffee and an Orchard.
